My grandson Koi Michael turns 18 months May 30. He is walking and into everything---what an amazing being! I spend a coupla days a week with him, he is the sunshine of my life! His mom Azalea is a full time student at UNM, and is totally into MATH of all things. She's presently taking Trigonometry and Calculus 2, and works for UNM tutoring these subjects as well.

Joelle has been living in Brazil as Rotary Youth International Student since August 2009. She'll return to Taos in July 2010 for her senior year here. What an fabulous experience she's having...she just loves Brazil! Her home there has been in Taubate, a town 2 hours southeast of Sao Paulo, with 3 different host families throughout the year. She is now fluent in Portuguese!

Chris and I are doing well. We have been living together in his home since April 2009, while I am renting out my own house. Chris is still pursuing his musical interests, his favorite; playing his wooden flute with friend Julie Hawley on harp. They perform for various events around town.

Certainly my big gig this year is my newly rented studio space-STUDIO 10/46! I finally have a real, honest to goodness studio in which to create art, plus, I am now offering weekly classes locally, and special art sessions to folks visiting from out of town! So when in Taos, contact me and we can do some art together...

Many blessings to you and yours for 2010
Love, Leigh
